I had Francisco Hernandez as my tenth grade spanish teacher. In his class I got to learn the basics of spanish grammar, and how to write and enunciate spanish words. In this class we focused a lot on the day of the dead and learned about the history behind it and also learned the key objects on the altar and built a mini one as a project. We also focused on immigration and read a book called Enrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario to help us understand a immigrants point of view.
