Salon Night
Salon Night is the exhibition we had for our humanities and Spanish classes. My two teachers worked together so at the end of the semester we could have a project that used what we learned in both classes together. In humanities we learned about philosophy and in spanish we learned about Dia de los Muertos and immigration. For our final product on Salon Night we had Dia de los Muertos altars for philosophers, skits entwining philosophy concepts with immigration, and a group discussion about what philosophy is most just for open borders or closed borders. I was one of the people in charge of the libertarian altar which was the one for Robert Nozick. My partner and I had to make an altar that had all the objects on a Dia de los Muertos altar and also include objects that our classmates brought in that explains a concept from libertarianism.
